Green Mountains Logistics Park consists of four warehouses and is an immense project on the former Groenland site near the Aalsmeer runway at Schiphol Airport. The first three warehouses have been officially completed and are in use. The fourth warehouse is wind and watertight, except for the shop floor. Because the tenant did not sign until the warehouse was ready, it is now being rebuilt to meet all the requirements of this new user.

Office building Lomans Totaalinstallateur, Capelle aan den IJssel
For Lomans Totaalinstallateur, we were involved in the development of their new branch in Capelle aan den IJssel. The two-storey building consists of 1,340 square metres of office and training space and 320 square metres of warehouse. The design is by Heembouw Architects.
High-rise warehouse CB, Culemborg
The number of orders is increasing, while the volume of orders is decreasing. A fully mechanised bin warehouse is a good solution for this, thought CB (formerly Centraal Broekhuis). They asked Denc and Pelecon to help think about the construction of the new high bay warehouse. We made all the main calculations, plan model and construction drawings.
HSC Albert Heijn, Bleiswijk
Albert Heijn inaugurated its seventh Home Shop Center (HSC) in Bleiswijk exactly one week ago today, on 24 September. Nice to know that we also provided constructive support for Albert Heijn’s 5th HSC, which is in Amsterdam.
The new distribution centre has an area of 20,000 m² and will process 40,000 orders per week. Everything you can’t see about this building is what Pelecon has been working on. Partner at Pelecon: Mack Stolwijk talks about this great development.
Residential complex Rijnzate, Alphen a/d Rijn
In Alphen aan den Rijn, Pelecon was engaged by client ‘Stichting Activite’ from Leiderdorp to calculate the structure of the Rijnzate residential complex. A challenging project in which we were also involved as consultants during construction by construction company Sprangers.
City Cinema, Roosendaal
A new City Cinema is being built for C-Cinemas in the centre of Roosendaal. This film temple contains six theatres of different sizes. Three theatres are located on the first floor level, partly above the outdoor area and partly above the grand café and kitchen. Two penthouses with roof terraces will be built on the complex. For energy facilities, the roofs will be used to install solar panels.
Abbott Laboratories, Zwolle
To expand an entire production line, Abbott needed not only a new utility building, but also a complete pipe bridge over the existing production site in Zwolle. And this while production could also continue as usual. For the contractor, this meant that during a clean-up period he had a week to make piles in the existing building and leave everything clean again. The next period, the roof could then be opened for heavy, steel columns. Then the bridge sections with pipes already in them were lifted into place. Besides the pipe bridge, there were also various extensions of floors, silos and transport facilities.
Commercial property Merlin / Lincsafe, Breukelen
For this building, Pelecon was responsible for the structural consultancy. This involved close cooperation with Mies Architectuur, the partner with whom we have carried out many projects.
Snoeks Automotive, Nieuw-Vennep
In Nieuw-Vennep, Heembouw realised a new location for Snoeks Automotive. Snoeks Automotive is the world’s leading partner for car manufacturers to expand their product range by supplying innovative modification concepts that further increase the possibilities of use and market opportunities for vans. The new premises in Nieuw-Vennep is test centre and headquarters.
Municipal yard, Papendrecht
A new municipal yard and waste transfer station for Papendrecht municipality Papendrecht will get a new municipal yard that fully meets all the requirements of both functionality and sustainability. According to alderman Arno Janssen, ‘the new municipal yard will be one of the most sustainable in the country’.
