The partially transparent barracks fit the firefighters like a glove. Moreover, from the circular concrete foundation to the roof, the building is sustainably designed and built.
Together with architect RoosRos Architecten and contractor BMN De Klerk we formed the construction team of the new fire station of Papendrecht. An intensive period of designing resulted in the start of construction at the end of August 2020. The building is located on the same site right next to the municipal yard that was also designed by us.

Right next to Oisterwijk’s train station is the old Leesten factory. This has been expanded with a future-proof, smart and sustainable business building. Meanwhile, the first tenants have moved into the full-service office units. Next to and connected to the existing Leesten factory, which is already serving as a business building, a dynamic working environment has been created on three floors with many shared facilities.

For Lomans Totaalinstallateur, we were involved in the development of their new branch in Capelle aan den IJssel. The two-storey building consists of 1,340 square metres of office and training space and 320 square metres of warehouse. The design is by Heembouw Architects.

A new City Cinema is being built for C-Cinemas in the centre of Roosendaal. This film temple contains six theatres of different sizes. Three theatres are located on the first floor level, partly above the outdoor area and partly above the grand café and kitchen. Two penthouses with roof terraces will be built on the complex. For energy facilities, the roofs will be used to install solar panels.

In Nieuw-Vennep, Heembouw realised a new location for Snoeks Automotive. We were approached by Heembouw Kantoren to make the structural calculations for their new office in Berkel en Rodenrijs. What is unique about this new office is that it is largely constructed from circular building products.

The magnificent Delektro and Van van Ee building shines right alongside the A12 motorway near Ede. Pelecon was involved as main contractor from the design phase to completion. A beautiful assignment for a high-profile building that matches the appearance of both companies and yet forms a single entity.
Delektro is an E-installer for Electrics, domotics, lighting, security installation and energy storage. Van van Ee (formerly Jumbo living comfort) is a supplier of exclusive garden rooms. Together with Mies Architectuur, they have designed a beautiful energy-neutral commercial building on the Schuttersveld industrial estate in Ede. The design includes a large space that appears to be constructed entirely of curtain walling. Over this large space, which is slightly rotated in relation to the A12 road axis, a large white roof with large roof overhangs was designed. On the left side (seen from the A12), the white wall is the support for the large roof structure, and the building contains many transitions between concrete, glass and steel. These are always tricky things, but Pelecon successfully worked out the structural design.
