At CanPack in Helmond, they produce cans. A lot of cans. As a consultant, Pelecon has been with CanPack since its establishment in the Netherlands. Cans are made from very large, heavy rolls of metal, and the machinery is also quite something. So special foundations had to be made for that.

The conveyor belts with the cans on them go throughout the factory, sometimes even through tunnels. With the high water level in Helmond, this was a challenge here and there. When expanding with another production line, Pelecon was again a construction advisor. With the knowledge from the first two lines, this last line was even optimised.

From Pelecon, Eelco Kingma from the Amersfoort branch was involved: "Eelco has a lot of knowledge of constructions for industry and will always put production first when designing the construction."
