This was a unique project to work on. Above the Rituals, on the corner of Kleiweg – Turfweg in Gouda, five homes were completed in December 2020. The renovation of this old building in the city center started with an investigation. The upper floors of the building had not been used for the last 30 years and had been poorly maintained, making them dilapidated. The owner really wanted to know whether a combination of shopping and living could be realized. Pelecon has calculated all existing constructions and made a constructive calculation for the renewed construction.
We were involved in this project as a consultant up to and including delivery. During construction, we mainly contributed to solutions for unforeseen deviations. We have also answered all questions from inspection authorities and assessed all buyers’ wishes in terms of construction.
A cool project, we say ourselves, in which we have put our heart and soul into it for three years. We are therefore very proud of the end result!
