PREPARATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LARGE DISTRIBUTION CENTER FOR JYSK IN LELYSTAD GO BACK SEVERAL YEARS. WHERE PELECON AMERSFOORT, AS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL DESIGN TEAM, HAS BEEN THINKING ALONG FROM THE BEGINNING ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION ISSUE OF THE HIGH-RISE WAREHOUSE WHICH WILL SOON MEET ALL MODERN (SUSTAINABILITY) REQUIREMENTS.
Several thousand piles are currently being driven. These not only form the basis for the modern storage area for pallets of Jysk products. But they also form the basis for Jysk’s new supply system in the Netherlands, which contributes to the Danish company’s sustainability ambition. After all, trucks must drive significantly fewer kilometers to deliver all products to all Dutch branches.
