The number of orders is increasing, while the volume of orders is decreasing. A fully mechanised bin warehouse is a good solution for this, thought CB (formerly Centraal Broekhuis). They asked Denc and Pelecon to help think about the construction of the new high bay warehouse. We made all the main calculations, plan model and construction drawings.

An award for the best new-build, remodelling or renovation project in the Netherlands or abroad that is carried out entirely or partly in steel: not just any award! We won that prize! The ‘New Logic III’ project in Tilburg met all the requirements that a steel award winner must meet in the “Industrial Building” category.

The National Steel Prize has existed since 1971 and is awarded every two years to five projects within five categories. These are: non-residential construction, industrial construction, residential construction, infrastructure and characteristic steel building components. Eligible projects must, among other things, be made entirely or partly of steel. The winning project New Logic III met all the requirements! Partners Pelecon structural engineers, Heembouw and Reijrink Staalconstructie, commissioned by DOKVAST (investor and developer of high-quality and sustainable real estate), developed this special project for tenant Rhenus Logistics.
